1. Clear Out Your Attic
Obvious? Yes. But it’s the first and most essential step.
- Remove everything (even if you think it won’t be in the way)
- Label and box sentimental or fragile items
- Donate or bin what you no longer need
2. Secure Access to Your Attic Hatch
Our team will be using it daily—make sure it’s fully accessible.
- Remove hallway clutter
- Protect nearby walls or floors if needed
3. Chat with the Kids (and Pets!)
Renovations bring noise, strangers, and dust.
- Explain what’s happening to young ones
- Set boundaries for pet areas

4. Protect Ground-Level Areas
While we do this ourselves, it helps to:
- Remove art or fragile items from walls
- Place dust covers over furniture near stairs/hallways
5. Plan for Noise & Disruption
There’ll be sawing, hammering, and deliveries.

- Let neighbours know in advance
6. Stay in Touch With Your Project Manager
You’ll get daily updates from us—but keep your phone handy.
